Explore Sirena Station in the heart of Corcovado National Park — a biodiversity paradise where you’ll hike jungle trails, spot unique wildlife like monkeys, tapirs, and macaws, and enjoy an unforgettable experience in one of Costa Rica’s wildest and most magical places.

Sirena Tour – 2 Days / 1 Night (Round trip via Puerto Jiménez)
DAY 1
Journey to Sirena Ranger Station
5:15 a.m. – Public Dock of Puerto Jiménez
Your exact departure point will be confirmed when your reservation is coordinated.
We meet early to prepare for departure and take advantage of the sunrise along the South Pacific coast.
5:30 a.m. – Boat ride to Sirena
Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes, perfect for enjoying the scenery, spotting seabirds, and—if we’re lucky—dolphins.
Arrival at Sirena Ranger Station – Park check-in
We check in with the park rangers and then head to the station to store part of the luggage. Valuables must remain with you at all times.
8:00 a.m. – First hike of the day
We’ll explore the trails around Sirena, an area famous for wildlife sightings such as tapirs, monkeys, scarlet macaws, peccaries, and a wide variety of birds.
Return around 12:00 p.m. for lunch.
12:00 p.m. – Lunch + rest
2:00 p.m. – Second hike
We head out again to explore a different section of the primary rainforest.
We return to the station before 6:00 p.m., as required by park regulations.
Night hikes are not permitted.
6:00 p.m. – Dinner
8:00 p.m. – Lights out
DAY 2
Wild sunrise & return
4:30 a.m. – Preparation
Get ready for the morning hike.
5:00 a.m. – Morning hike
Sunrise is one of the best times for wildlife viewing. Approximately 2 hours.
7:30 a.m. – Breakfast + rest
8:30 a.m. – Second hike
We’ll explore any remaining areas and make the most of our final chance to spot Corcovado National Park’s iconic species.
Return around 11:00 a.m.
11:00 a.m. – Lunch
12:30 p.m. – Boat return to Puerto Jiménez
Please be ready 15 minutes in advance.
