Departure: 7:30 am from Drake Bay, Costa Rica

Start your adventure with a 35-minute boat ride from Drake Bay to Caño Island, one of the top scuba diving destinations in Costa Rica. The Caño Island Biological Reserve is famous for its crystal-clear waters, abundant marine life, and excellent visibility year-round.

First Dive – Caño Island Marine Reserve

Upon arrival, you’ll prepare for your first 45-minute dive at one of the island’s six official dive sites. This area offers frequent encounters with white-tip reef sharks, rays, sea turtles, schools of tropical fish, and vibrant coral formations.

Beach Break on Caño Island

Between dives, we stop at Caño Island Beach, where you can relax, enjoy the views, and use the restroom facilities.

Second Dive – New Dive Spot

Continue your underwater exploration with a second 45-minute dive at a different marine site around the island, maximizing your chances of encountering diverse species.

Picnic Lunch at San Josecito Beach

After diving, the boat heads to the beautiful San Josecito Beach for a fresh picnic lunch surrounded by pristine nature.

Return to Drake Bay

After lunch, we return to Drake Bay, arriving between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm.
