Drake Bay’s Most Exclusive Nature Adventure

1. Primary Forest Hike (2 km – ~1 hour)

Your adventure begins with a beautiful hike through primary rainforest, home to centuries-old trees, tropical birds, and diverse wildlife.

The terrain includes natural slopes, making it a slow-paced, interpretive walk filled with jungle insights and photographic moments.

  • Highlight: The hike leads to a stunning waterfall, where you can swim, relax, and enjoy fresh fruits and snacks.

2. Río Claro Floating Experience (~1 hour 30 minutes)

After a short 10-minute walk, arrive at the crystal-clear Río Claro.

Here, you’ll float gently downriver using a life jacket as a flotation device, allowing you to fully enjoy the peaceful jungle surroundings and transparent waters.

The float ends at Río Claro Beach, a serene and pristine location.

3. Coastal Hike to Playa Caletas (~1 hour)

Continue your journey along the wild, untouched coastline, walking from Río Claro to the beautiful Playa Caletas.

Expect scenic ocean views, natural rock formations, and complete immersion in nature.

4. Lunch at Playa Caletas

Upon arrival at Playa Caletas, you’ll enjoy a fresh beachfront lunch, the perfect way to relax after your rainforest and river adventure.

  • Return to Drake Bay: A 4×4 vehicle will meet you at Playa Caletas to take you back to Drake Bay.
